Cultúrlann Uí Chanáin has been shortlisted for the grand prize in Glór na nGael’s national competition, as well as winning 1st place in the 10,000+ population committee category.
Also in the competition for a £20,000 Grand Prize and Glór na nGael Trophy are Glór Charn Tóchair, Co Dhoire, and Comhlacht Forbartha na nDéise, Co Phort Láirge.
The results of Glór na nGael’s 2015 national competition were announced on Friday 5th February during a special edition of Iris Aniar on RTÉ Raidió na Gaeltachta.
The national winners will be revealed at a gala event in Dunboyne Castle, County Meath on April 9th this year.
The news is a great boost to the Cultúrlann team in the run up to Seachtain na Gaeilge when the Cultúrlann will again provide a high quality programme of events for the whole community.
